DOWNLOAD UBOX PRO

PlotVu Cameras is a start-up company utilizing UBOX Pro for viewing and camera interactions. Most of your camera set-up will be done through this app.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT

Use the UBox Pro App to create an account. This is where you will view and interact with your PlotVu Camera

LINK YOUR CAMERA

Open your UBox Pro App

Click the Blue + at the top right

Select SCAN

Scan the QR Code located on the PlotVu Camera

ADD DATA PLAN & STORAGE

Once your camera is recognized inside the UBox Pro App, you can now add a data plan and data storage.

Inside the UBox Pro App, click the gray gear box at the top right of your screen.

Select: Recharge or check out 4G data plan

Follow the prompts.

NOTE: Data plans are UNLIMITED per camera (This includes SHA

Once your camera is recognized inside the UBox Pro App, you can now add a data plan and data storage.

Inside the UBox Pro App, click the gray gear box at the top right of your screen.

Select: Recharge or check out 4G data plan

Follow the prompts.

NOTE: Data plans are UNLIMITED per camera (This includes SHARED camera viewing), with UNLIMITED viewing sessions for just $19.99/month!

RECOMMENDED: MICRO SD STORAGE:

With the camera OFF, insert a new 32G Micro SD card.

CLOUD STORAGE: Cloud Storage requires a monthly fee and can be added at the same time you are adding your data plan by following prompts inside your app.

CAMERA SETTINGS

PlotVu Cameras have a wide selection of camera settings to give users the most control over their device(s). Here are a few of the key settings and where we recommend starting.

MOUNT YOUR CAMERA

When mounting your PlotVu Camera, be sure to check that the camera is level and secured firmly. Adjust the top, fixed position lense to your desired viewing area by turning it with your hands.

Mount your camera head high or higher to increase viewing above plants and terrain.

PlotVu cameras come with mounting hardward that can be used to secure onto wood structures.

WE RECOMMEND mounting both the camera and solar panel on a standard T-Post using 8", 3mm Zip-Ties.

USING YOUR CAMERA Tips & Tricks

Tip #1:

Be sure to check and adjust your camera settings before using your PlotVu Camera as improper settings can effect the usage of the camera

Use your PlotVu Camera in SD (Standard Definition) with your zoom reduced while panning your area. This allows for smoother & more responsive results. Once you locate a target to view, zoom in and switch to HD for a clear viewing experience.

It is easier to view in Full Screen. While in this mode, each lens will record as separate videos to your phone.

SET YOUR GUARD POINT

PlotVu Motion Detection is located on the MOTION lens. You can set your camera to go back to a certain location when you're done viewing. Example: You would like the camera to detect motion and record a scrape while you're not Live-viewing. This can be accomplished with a few simple steps inside your camera app:

Step 1: Open Camera inside UBox Pro App

Step 2: Select your PTZ control button and adjust the camera to the location and zoom you desire

Step 3: Select Preset Positions

Step 4: Select the Edit button

Step 5: Select the Gray + box

Step 6: Select the PreSet Position

Step 6: Select Guard Point

Step 7: Toggle ON the Enable Guard

AF CALIBRATION

AF (Auto Focus) Calibration is something you may find yourself needing to do if your camera is struggling to focus correctly. This can be accomplished in a few simple steps while inside your camera app:

Step 1: Open Camera inside UBox Pro App

Step 2: Select your PTZ control button

Step 3: Select AF Calibration and allow the camera to complete the process.

PTZ CALIBRATION

PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) Calibration is something you may want to do if you find your camera is not rotating a full 355 degrees. This can be accomplished in a few simple steps while inside your camera app:

Step 1: Open Camera inside UBox Pro App

Step 2: Select the Blue Gear at the top Right of your viewing screen

Step 3: Select Pan-tilt Settings

Step 4: Select Calibration

Step 5: Select OK and allow the camera to complete the process

Step 6: When prompted, align the 2 red squares to the same viewing point and select OK to complete the process.
